FAQ
1. I booked the excursion but need to cancel. What should I do? Are there any penalties?
You won’t lose money if you cancel, as tickets are paid on the day of the tour.
For bookings made via international platforms, you can get a refund or change the date free of charge for valid reasons.
Please notify us as soon as possible, at least 24 hours before the excursion, by phone or WhatsApp. Unfortunately, we cannot accept email notifications because they may not be received or processed in time.
By canceling in time, we can offer the spot to another visitor.
2. What happens if the weather is bad?
The excursion proceeds as planned in case of wind or overcast skies. Cancellations will only be decided based on local weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds. We will notify you the evening before or early in the morning (between 7:30 and 8:45).
Please keep your phone on for updates.
3. What if the weather worsens during the excursion?
The captain, a seasoned expert with years of experience navigating the waters of the Maddalena Archipelago, will evaluate sea conditions and make decisions to ensure your safety and comfort. Adjustments to planned beaches or islands may be made, but no refunds or discounts are provided for itinerary changes.
4. What if I am late for the recommended transfer or urban bus?
Unfortunately, the Lady Luna 2 motorboat CANNOT delay departure. If you are late, please contact us by phone to check if it’s still possible to join the excursion.
5. What if I am late on the day of my booking?
The motorboat adheres to a strict schedule to respect regulations and other passengers. We recommend leaving early to avoid delays caused by traffic, parking difficulties, or unexpected issues. Review parking details and plan your trip to account for potential delays.
6. Can I change the date of my booking?
In the low season, bookings can be modified by phone, subject to seat availability. During the high season, changes are more challenging due to high demand.
7. Can I bring a person with a disability or reduced mobility?
We regret that the motorboat is not suitable for wheelchairs or individuals with reduced mobility. Limited space on board and the rocky paths leading to the beaches make accessibility challenging, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For more information, please contact us by phone.
8. Can I bring my dog on board?
Pets are welcome! Please contact us by phone to confirm specific regulations, as certain restrictions might apply to larger breeds or other considerations. This helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
9. I have celiac disease or specific food intolerances. Can I eat on board?
You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch. We cannot guarantee gluten-free meals or modifications to dishes served on board due to food safety regulations.
10. What happens if I miss the return time from the beach or island?
If you are more than 10 minutes late, the motorboat will be forced to leave. You can return using ferries available every 15 minutes (ticket at your expense). Please listen carefully to announcements about return times and ask the crew if you have any questions.
11. I suffer from seasickness. Do you provide medication on board?
We do not provide medication on board. If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking precautions before boarding, such as wearing motion sickness bands or using over-the-counter medication like antihistamines. Consult your pharmacist for advice tailored to your needs.
