Helpful Tips
- Parking meters do not accept cash notes. Parking costs between €8.00 and €16.00 for stays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on the lot.
- Leave early during summer as the SS125 highway can be heavily congested.
- Notify us of delays. Departure is at 10:30 AM sharp, and we cannot wait due to unforeseen delays (e.g., accidents or roadworks).
La Maddalena
Dock No. 4, near the ferry terminal (opposite Maritime Station – Coast Guard).
Helpful Tips
- The commercial port differs from the tourist port (used by dinghies, motorboats, and sailboats). Proceed to the ferry dock instead.
- Notify us if you decide to cancel your excursion. Departure is at 8:45 AM, and we cannot delay departures for late arrivals.
Paid Parking
If you prefer the convenience of paid parking near the port, here are the main options.
With these options, you can park with ease and focus on enjoying your excursion!
- Parking meters only accept coins or card payments (no cash notes).
- Plan ahead to allow extra time for parking during peak season.

- Over 500 parking spaces available.
- Operating hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Multipiano Parking
- Two entrances: Via Capo d’Orso and Via Omero No. 2.
- Conveniently located near the port.
Public Transportation to Palau
Palau is well-connected to northern Sardinia by bus. Here are some options
ARST
Year-round service between Olbia (Isola Bianca Port), Palau, and other locations in Sardinia.
Turmotravel
Six daily connections from Olbia Airport to Palau, running from June to September.
Caramelli
Seasonal routes to/from Palau: Le Saline, Capo D’Orso, Porto Rafael, Costa Serena, and Porto Pollo.
